My reminders |
Context of usage: Reminders
are useful for keeping track of relevant follow-up
information pertaining to incidents and service requests. They can also be
used for instance to remind a technician to call somebody when this person
returns from vacation. A person may have explicitly mentioned not being
available before a given date in order to take care of such or such issue.
Reminders can serve to advise technicians to start working on a job at a
specific date, to remind you to call a supplier who had promised to deliver a
part within a specified delay, etc.
You may access your
list of reminders (reminders to your attention as a technician) via the “My reminders”
link located in the application’s left side menu.

Three reminder related actions are located in the left
side menu:
-
Create a reminder
-
Modify reminder (applies to the
selected reminder in orange)
-
Delete the reminder (applies to the
selected reminder in orange)
You may also edit a reminder by double-clicking on it.
To open the incident
associated to the reminder, click on the hyperlink (in the above example:
incident number 1275).
The “Create a reminder” action enables you to:

To create a reminder
associated to an incident, select the incident from an incident view and
