List of user related actions

 

The left side menu enables to add a user or to modify the user’s notification preferences.

 

 

Note that the “Notification” menu item will be activated if the user displayed is a technical agent.

It is possible to modify the notification preferences only for technical agents.

 

Add user

Enables to add a new user.

 

Notification

Enables to configure the user’s notification preferences.

 

Change the user’s team

You can assign to the user another team than the default one that is IT.

If we click on « Change the user’s team », a new window will appear.

 

 

You must select the new team and click on Ok.

The new team will be visible in the user form:

 

 

From now on, the new technician will log on and will be able to see only the data related to his or her team.

 

Several other actions are available from the User form.

 

View a user's Windows and Octopus user information

View a user's history of incidents

View a user's associated CIs or associate new CIs

View a user’s rights as an Octopus user

Create a new Octopus user account

Append a note

Delete user
