Characteristics
Clicking
on “Hide” causes the search zone to disappear.
Clicking
on the arrow reinitialises all criteria to their default settings.
Clicking
on the magnifying glass displays the results of the search according to the
specified criteria.
If
you have already performed a first search and would like the results of your
following search to be added to those of the first, check the “Merge with
current results” checkbox.
For example,
you might start by performing a search in order to get the list of your
critical servers. You then decide that you also want the list of your critical
workstations and that it would be useful for you to have them in a single list
containing both sets of results. The way to do this would be the following:
search for your critical servers, display the list by clicking on the
magnifying glass, search for your critical workstations, check the “Merge with
current results” checkbox and re-click on the magnifying glass. You will thus
obtain a list combining the results of each subsequent search.
In the
event where you would conversely like to perform the search but also remove the
display of the previous search results, do not check this box. You will then
only see the search results corresponding to the new search criteria.
