List of CI related actions

 

The left side menu contains the list of CI specific actions.

 

 

In order to execute an action contained within the left side menu, it is not necessary to open the CI’s form.

You may simply select the CI from a view (for instance, the list of servers), and click on the action to update the selected CI.

 

Create CI

Used to create a CI.

 

Update the computer's configuration attributes (WMI)

To perform an automated update of a computer’s configuration information.

 

Remote access

You can have remote access to a specific computer if it is properly configured.

Change type

Enables to change a CI’s type.

 

Create service contract

Enables to create a service contract.

 

Delete CI

Enables to delete the CI from the configuration management database (CMDB).

 

Several other actions are available from the CI form.
