Create CI

The “Create CI” action, located in the left side menu, is used to CI creation.

· The Type field is mandatory.

· The “Manufacturer” and “Model” fields are optional but very useful.

If they are missing from the list, you may add them by inputting them directly with your keyboard.

· A CI’s default status is “In operation”.

· The Name field is mandatory and its value must be unique.

· It is possible to mark a CI as “Critical”.

1. If you create an incident and choose this CI, an information bubble will notify you that this configuration item is critical.

2. Under the incident’s CI tab, the word “Critical” will appear in red below the CI’s name.
