During initial Octopus implementation, you have a choice between basic support (option 1) or a turnkey project (option 2).
Whichever of these two options you choose, please familiarize yourself with our Octopus Integration Program. It provides the Octopus modules and functionalities to be implemented in a very specific sequence. This program was developed and refined over hundreds of Octopus implementations.
Basic support is aimed at customers who want to be independent and who have the time necessary to configure Octopus themselves. This option includes 2 training sessions — administrator and user. It also includes support from a dedicated Octopus trainer up to commissioning.
An initial telephone contact allows the Octopus specialist to gain an understanding of the customer’s needs and to identify the implementation steps. Support is provided remotely, and consists of helping the customer with configurations, answering questions and making recommendations as needed.
Because Octopus is preconfigured, it is virtually ready-to-use, which makes preparation easier and faster. For further information, numerous documents are available to customers in the Documentation section.
Turnkey project mode consists of a mandate to guide the customer and is aimed at customers who want a fuller implementation and who would like an Octopus specialist to take charge of most configurations. This option takes the form of a wide range of workshops.

The guidance mandate is a more managed approach, and the project is supported by the expertise and experience of an Octopus specialist whose role will be to manage activities, to actively participate in their execution, and to advise the customer on the direction to take in order to complete the project diligently and efficiently.

Our integration philosophy is based on an iterative approach that aims to gradually and concretely introduce Octopus concepts, configurations and use. Initial Octopus implementation (phase 1 of the integration program) gives new momentum to your team and ensures a solid foundation. We can then guide you in integrating other Octopus components (defining the workflow of your service requests, automating approvals, managing access, etc.).
